Terms and Conditions for E Rickshaw Rakshak

Welcome to E Rickshaw Rakshak.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Rakshak.

By installing or using the application, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Rakshak

Rakshak is developed by Mehul Mohakud under 59 Labs.

The application is intended to assist owners and authorized users of compatible Bluetooth-enabled Battery Management Systems.

2. Authorized Use

You agree to use Rakshak only:

• With batteries that you own, or
• With batteries for which you have explicit authorization from the owner.

Unauthorized access to Bluetooth-enabled devices may violate applicable laws or agreements. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Rakshak is lawful.

3. Compatibility

Rakshak supports only compatible battery systems and Bluetooth devices.

Not every battery manufacturer implements the same Bluetooth protocol or exposes the same functionality.

The availability of any feature depends on the capabilities of the connected hardware.

4. No Guarantee of Compatibility

Rakshak does not guarantee compatibility with:

• Every battery
• Every BMS
• Every Bluetooth device
• Every Android device

Compatibility may vary depending on:

• Manufacturer
• Firmware version
• Hardware revision
• Android version

5. Battery Operations

Rakshak performs only the Bluetooth operations supported by compatible devices.

Users are responsible for understanding the implications of any actions they initiate through the application.

6. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Verifying that you are connecting to the correct device.
• Maintaining any credentials associated with your compatible battery.
• Using Rakshak in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and applicable laws.

7. Safety

Rakshak should not be used while driving or operating an e-rickshaw.

Always interact with the application only when the vehicle is safely parked.

8. Updates

Rakshak may receive updates that:

• Improve compatibility
• Add support for additional battery models
• Improve stability
• Address security issues

Some features may change or be removed in future versions.

9. Intellectual Property

E Rickshaw Rakshak, its name, branding, logos, user interface, documentation, and related materials are the intellectual property of 59 Labs, unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or reverse engineer the application except where permitted by applicable law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Rakshak is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or universal compatibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mehul Mohakud and 59 Labs shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use Rakshak.
• Incompatibility with hardware.
• Unsupported battery models.
• Bluetooth communication failures.
• Data loss.
• Device malfunction.
• Unauthorized use of the application by third parties.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue, suspend, or modify Rakshak or any part of the application at any time without prior notice.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically.

The latest version will always be available through the official Rakshak website.

Continued use of the application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
